Your go to guide to looking fashionable on the slopes

If you prefer to make a trip to the mountains a social event, you may want to try some of these tips to look chic in the chalet. These tips could also work for the snow, but if you’re facing some true winter weather you may want to refer to the ski necessities blog. We’ve put together a few tips and tricks that will help you look luxurious and stay cosy all day long.

Winterluxe luxury leggings

Whether your skiing or relaxing with the family at the ski lodge, these leggings will keep you looking stylish and warm at the same time. Who knew it was possible? These luxury leggings also come in many different styles to match your mood or whatever else you’re wearing that day.

Fur

When in doubt, fur is the way to go. Whether you have a jacket that has fur trim along the hood, or an actual fur jacket, adding a different texture to your look is a way to stand out on the slopes. Not to mention wearing fur can step up your look and make it that much more luxurious. Otherwise, adding a fur-trimmed hat or something similar can add a lot to your look and make you feel just a bit more extravagant.

Add a pop of colour

We all know you can’t go wrong with neutrals or a monochromatic look. But every now and then, adding a pop of colour can really make a statement. Imagine an all-black look with a red beanie or yellow scarf. Adding just one colourful item to your typical slopestyle can really make heads turn.

Retro Vibes

This is one of my personal favourite tips. Many of staple pieces are vintage, and adding a piece of vintage-wear or a retro colour to your go-to ski outfit can really be beautiful and luxurious. For example, creating a polar blue ice look with the jacket and leggings paired with oversized sunglasses will bring everyone back to the 80’s with you.

Winter Boots

One of my personal favourite accessories, boots. There are so many different types of boots to choose from, but I like to make sure that mine are fashionable yet warm at the same time. If you’re looking to ditch the UGGS, maybe try stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something with a little bit of faux fur or colour. Sorel is a great brand of winter boots that considers warmth and style when designing their boots.
